20Therefore thus says the Lord God: Behold, amy anger and my wrath will be poured out on this place, upon man and beast, upon the trees of the field and the fruit of the ground; bit will burn and not be quenched.”

Jeremiah 9:10

10 “I will take up weeping and wailing for the mountains,
and a lamentation for cthe pastures of the wilderness,
dbecause they are laid waste so that no one passes through,
and the lowing of cattle is not heard;
eboth the birds of the air and the beasts
have fled and are gone.

Jeremiah 9:17-20

17 Thus says the Lord of hosts:
fConsider, and call for the mourning women to come;
send for the skillful women to come;
18let them make haste gand raise a wailing over us,
hthat our eyes may run down with tears
and our eyelids flow with water.
19For a sound of wailing is heard from Zion:
iHow we are ruined!
We are utterly shamed,
because we have left the land,
because they have cast down our dwellings.’”
20 Hear, O women, the word of the Lord,
and let your ear receive the word of his mouth;
teach to your daughters a lament,
and each to her neighbor a dirge.

Ezekiel 19:1

A Lament for the Princes of Israel

1And you, jtake up a lamentation for the princes of Israel,

Ezekiel 26:17

17And they will kraise a lamentation over you and say to you,

“‘How you have perished,
you who were inhabited from the seas,
O city renowned,
lwho was mighty on the sea;
she and her inhabitants mimposed their terror
on all her inhabitants!

Ezekiel 27:32

32In their wailing they nraise a lamentation for you
and lament over you:
oWho is like Tyre,
like one destroyed in the midst of the sea?

Ezekiel 28:12

12 pSon of man, qraise a lamentation over rthe king of Tyre, and say to him, Thus says the Lord God:

“You were the signet of perfection,

Ezekiel 32:2

2 vSon of man, wraise a lamentation over xPharaoh king of Egypt and say to him:

“You consider yourself ya lion of the nations,
but you are like za dragon aain the seas;
abyou burst forth in your rivers,
trouble the waters with your feet,
and foul their rivers.
